Art Sizing Tips
If you’re unsure where to start, here are a few simple guidelines to help you choose the perfect size for your space.
Each piece is available in multiple sizes — from small, intimate prints to large-scale collector editions — so you can find the right balance of presence and proportion.
12×18" – Classic
- Ideal for smaller rooms, offices, or gallery wall groupings.
- Works beautifully as part of a set or to fill narrow wall spaces.
16×24" – Showcase
- A versatile “just right” size — substantial but not overwhelming.
- Fits well above desks, dressers, or side tables.
*The most popular starting size among new collectors.
24×36" – Collector
- True gallery proportions — perfect for high ceilings or wide walls.
- Commands attention above a sofa, bed, or dining area.
- Offers dramatic impact without feeling oversized.
Overall the most popular size
32x45" – Statement
- Collector Edition scale — deep, immersive, and museum-like in presence.
- Ideal for spacious walls, statement entries, or great rooms.
- The larger frame profile and mat depth give it exceptional weight and dimension.
40×60" – Gallery (Metal Only)
- Architectural presence — designed for large, open spaces or commercial environments.
- Creates a sense of awe and connection — the landscape becomes the room.
- Typically installed as a centerpiece or custom statement commission.

About This Image
Location: Aspen, CO
In 2021, I made my first visit to the Maroon Bells—and within moments, I knew I’d be back.
It wasn’t a photography trip, not really. My friend and I were passing through after a wedding, with only one day to spare before heading home. No plan, no golden hour strategy. We hadn’t scored a sunrise permit, and by the time we arrived, the classic Maroon Lake compositions were already swarming with tripods.
So we pivoted.
Instead of chasing the crowds, we set out on foot—up past the well-known views, into quieter terrain. No expectations. Just a morning to explore.
That’s when we found it. A calm, lesser-known lake nestled above the main scene. The fall color was starting to fade, the light soft and low, and a fragile layer of ice had begun to grip the water’s edge. The vibrancy of autumn was dimming, giving way to the stillness of winter.
And there, in that quiet transition, was the image.
No drama. No perfect conditions. Just a peaceful reflection—sharp peaks mirrored in glassy water, surrounded by trees on the cusp of sleep. A simple moment that somehow said everything about the season, the place, and the timing.
Reflected Peaks is a tribute to the in-between. A nod to the spaces where seasons shift, where light softens, and where quiet becomes the most powerful part of the scene.
It’s not just a photo of the Maroon Bells.
It’s a memory of wandering, of discovering, of letting go of expectations—and finding something better in return.

From My Lens to Your Wall.
When you collect a piece from Riley Clark Fine Art, you're not buying mass-produced décor or gallery-inflated prints. You're getting something real—photographic art created from actual moments I've experienced in the wild.
Every image was captured with intention, often after long hikes, early mornings, or chance encounters with nature's beauty. And because I sell directly to you, there's no middleman markup—just high-quality fine art, thoughtfully printed and personally shared.
By collecting here, you’re supporting an independent artist and bringing home a story—not just a scene.
