Sand dunes are among my favorite subjects to photograph, thanks to their unique shapes and textures. Pair them with a stunning desert sunset, and the result is truly exceptional. After a 10-mile hike and capturing other captivating shapes in the dune sea, I settled on this composition, anticipating that the fleeting clouds would light up. My intuition proved right, as the clouds indeed illuminated, adding an extra layer of beauty to the scene, much to my delight.
