Location: The Alaskan Range

 

In the summer of 2020, my wife and I set out on the open roads of Alaska with no particular plan—just curiosity and a sense of adventure. The canyon we drove through was quiet, the trees thick and enclosing, until suddenly the forest canopy broke apart. What opened before us took our breath away: a wide river valley stretching toward snow-dusted peaks under a sky alive with light.

 

It was in that moment I felt the true spirit of Alaska—the Last Frontier. Untamed, awe-inspiring, and humbling all at once.

A Grand Alaskan Valley is my attempt to capture that feeling of wonder, discovery, and possibility.
